Advocacy & Policy Change


our mission is to advocate for individuals and communities who are marginalized and disenfranchised. Our role is to give power to those that feel powerless by equipping them with the tools to advocate and create policy change to ensure they are heard, their human rights are protected, Also our goal is to provide services and highlight resources that will uplift, empower and strengthen our communities. This pillar consists of our Policy Change Training, Advocacy Training, Wellness Checks, and Adopt-A-Elder program.

Policy Change Training - This program consists of training community

members on basic local policy change throughout various institutions to

effectuate change.

Advocacy Training - This program consists of training various

communities on different forms of advocacy and how to effectuate change

through advocacy.

Wellness Checks - This program consists of providing routine check-ins

with our most at-risk community members, particularly seniors who live

alone via phone call or in-person to ensure their well-being.

Adopt-A-Elder - This program consists of pairing community members

with our senior community members, with the goal of being a personal

touch to Seniors by directly providing them with some outside contact.

Individuals wishing to participate in this program will be thoroughly vetted.
